Redcon1’s MRE spin-off MRE Lite, features a significantly lower amount of carbohydrates and is now almost here. To get everyone ready for the release the brand has passed on everything you need to know about the supplement including, macros, ingredients, and flavors.
What is it
As mentioned, Redcon1 MRE Lite is intended to be just like the original MRE, but without anywhere near as many carbohydrates. It is essentially a protein powder, however like MRE, it doesn’t use any of the more common protein sources such as whey or casein.
Regarding ingredients, MRE Lite features the same formula as MRE minus all of the carbohydrate sources. Its clean list of main ingredients includes a blend of beef isolate, salmon, chicken, egg, brown rice, and pea protein, along with coconut water and MCT oil.
The macros making up each serving of Redcon1’s MRE Lite are 24g of protein, 4g of carbohydrates compared to MRE’s 75g, with 2g of that sugar. 2g of fat (less than 1g saturated), and a total of 134 calories.
Looking at everything for MRE Lite, the product is truly a one-of-a-kind protein powder, and unlike anything we’ve seen in the usually predictable category. Redcon1 did a great job with making the original MRE unique and has certainly repeated that for its spin-off.
